Shower theme -

Hello ladies :)

Just curious - Im having a winter wedding theme in December (girls are wearing black & silver) -

Does your shower theme have to match???

I'm helping my sister plan my shower, and I was thinking of doing black, hot pink and white -

Is that okay??

Did you girls have the exact same colors or did you change it up a bit?

shower theme can be whatever ya want really.

mine had some of my colors - but there was also bright fusia flowers to decorate

my shower is a surprise....but i just old my mom I want it to be pink...and my wedding has NO pink in it.

Since mine was just a bit before St. Patrick's day, we used shamrock accents at mine

My wedding is at Land's End in August and I have a tropical/beach theme

So my shower is bright colors, flips flops and flower.... Centerpieces are made in big glass margarita glasses... Just fun and colorful

My shower theme well what I told them I wanted is sex and the city ao it's not incorporated with my weddin theme..you can do whatever you want as a shower theme

I didn't really have a theme for my shower (and I don't have one for the wedding either), but the colors were the same.

The theme of the shower doesn't have to match at all. For my shower though, my mom (being my mom) did match everything with a 'Sunflower' themed shower and the favors went along with our wedding favors (wedding favor: ice cream bowls, shower favor: ice cream scoopers)

i originally thought they did but then i changed my mind. i was looking at fall themed favors and then thought giving out favors with fall leaves on them in august is stupid so i scratched that idea and now the shower is its very own theme.

wedding theme = very rustic, fallish with fall colors

shower theme = no real theme just using pastel colors for favors and me and my mom DIY'd centerpieces using those candy conversation hearts so pastel colors are prevalent.

My shower theme was 'Eloise at the PLaza' and my wedding was NOTHING close to that LOL

there were elements of pink in both but not b/c my mom matched the 2 together. Just kinda worked out that way.

So to answer your question - no they dont have to match at all. You can do what you want!
