for my shower i didnt want to be receiving the typical kitchen utensils because i had already bought so many for myself, so my sister split the list up into four groups, one got 'medicine cabinet wishing well', another ' outdoor/gardening wishing well', ' bathroom accessaries wishing well' and finally 'cleaning wishing well......... I got such a variety of stuff from it instead of 20 spatulas

another idea is my mom decided since we just bought a house to do a 'home depot' wishing well (or may I say garbage can) for my FH. She felt he needs something to open too!!! He'll be so excited when I bring home a garbage pail full of tools!

My friend did something similar...Wishing well in honor of the groom. The wishing well was a wheel barrow. Inside were tools, flashlights, stuff like that.

Those are great ideas! my was the generic kind & I got about 10 boxes of ziploc bags!
For my friend's we each got an assignment. I was confectioners sugar.

another idea..... my bridesmaids made mine a dirty wishing well......so i got all sorts of funny gag gifts.....tons of underwear, including a scratch and sniff thong, and a lot of other funny things.....people actually stayed to watch me open the wishing well gifts! although i'm pretty sure my 13 year old cousin wished she hadn't!
