Shower Wear

If you had your shower, what did you wear. If not, what are you planning?

Stressed BC i cannot find the perfect dress and now my moh says i have to wear white. Ugh. This is making me not want it!

I do not think a white dress is necessary for a shower. Any cute dress would be fine.
I might wear a white dress for rehearsal dinner, but not for my shower.

I am wearing a cute purple Cynthia Steffe dress I got at Nordstrom for my shower in 2 weeks. I think white is a cute idea for a spring/summer shower but it doesnt make sense for fall/winter. I don't like how white dresses look with tights but that could just be me. I think you should wear whatever you want!

I didnt wear white. I wore a brown plaid dress actaully lol. I didnt want to wear white actaully. One because, I hate how white looks on me without a tan lol and two because I want to save my white dress for the wedding day.

I am planning on wearing a dress for my shower...still haven't found one that I loved. BUT there is no rule saying you NEED to wear white...my cousin wore a red dress

I really don't want to wear a dress, but I probably will since it will be in the summer. I definitely won't be wearing white though lol. I was planning on a navy dress for my rehearsal (that's what the girls are wearing on the wedding day), but as far as my shower, probably just whatever I find that I actually like.

You don't have to wear white. I'm actually picking out 2 outfits because I don't know when my shower is and FH is just going to have a bag of my clothes in his trunk so if I'm wearing something I hate I can go change. I'm also one of those people that would buy an outfit then look at it later and what to wear something completely different =)

I had my shower this past weekend. I originally bought an ivory lace dress. I changed my mind and just wore a cute black dress. It was appropriate and comfortable.

diane von furstenberg - zarita. bloomingdales. i'm in LOVE.... it was expensive but it's friends and family right now!

I have a fall colored sweater dress (brown, purple, etc) from loft that i was going to wear with knee high boots. Moh said i couldn't wear boots either, only heels. I'm getting hair and mu done and thought, this is a 'me' outfit but do i need to be more dressed up?! Idk.

The only reason I could think of for all the requirements is that it is at a pretty fancy place. Maybe your MOH is trying to let you know that without giving anything away?

My Lord it IS expensive! My mom works there I LOVE it! But sometimes (on my body) dresses that have no waist definition look like a bag on me

I bought a pretty Tiffany Blue lace dress a few months ago for my shower. I figure mine will be in March or so, so I'll pop on a white cardigan to go over it and wear some ballet flats. Of course someone is going to have to keep that outfit with them so I can change haha
