Yeah... I hate doing it as well. by the time you finish and see all the stuff that comes out, you don't really feel like eating it!

I only buy the deveined shrimp!! One time the guy gave me the wrong one and I wanted to shoot myself. It took forever!!

I just use a knife.

You know, I never knew until a couple of days ago that the vein is not really a vein - it's the poop chute! Ewwwww.....
