Don't feel down about it. I've been on WW for two years now. The weight was coming off very very veryyyyyyyy slowly. It's only starting to come off now.

Re: Shrinkage
Yeah, I'm freakin out b/c i'm about 2 sizes smaller than what my dress is I'm not getting anything altered until a month before. they're gonna have to take the whole thing apart and put it back together I hope it looks good. and i still got a while to go. and i eat like a man, but just run around all day like crazy i haven't tried the dress on since feb. why drive myself nuts seeing if i go up & down in weight. i left it at my mom's house so i wouldn't be tempted.

Re: Shrinkage
I went to the bridal salon to talk to the woman about my dress and in the discussion I brought up the question of about how many alteration sessions might be needed.....after everything said and done (and my major weight loss) she said probably not a lot. I mentioned that I did lose some weight and still working on it.....she said to me...no, no you still look exactly the same don't worry. And yes, she knew and remembered me very well. I didn't know whether to be shocked, disappointed, break down in tears, or curse her out.

Re: Shrinkage
That is happening to me!!!! I hope I stay this way for the next week but I have not had an appetite to eat at all!!!! I think with all the running around right before the wedding some brides tend to shed a few BC of the excitement and the last minute things!!!

Re: Shrinkage
My MOH gained weight before her wedding.
I think stress must effect everyone diff. I've been killing myself at the gym to the point where my liver enzymes are now elevated, I have heel spurs and all sorts of joint pain and guess what, all I have lost in the 18 months of intense working out? 30 whopping pounds when I was trying to drop 100. I bring breakfast and lunch to work (have been since we got engaged last July) trying so hard and nothing is happening. I only hope I physically become to stressed to put food in my fat mouf! I'm down about two sizes and people say I look 'tighter' but the gut and the pouds are still there when I get on our scale. I even bought a new scale in disbelief!
I want shrinkage!!! ha ha!

Anyone starting to shrink closer to their wedding? I've been stuck at a certain weight for soooo long, no matter what I did nothing would work. I work out 4x a week and eat right, but nothing helped. As I started to get closer to the wedding date and stressed more with other things going on in my life, it just started to melt off. Not drastically or dramatically, but enough to notice. Anyone else experiencing this?
Yes it definitely happened to me, I lost about 6 pounds within a week and a half prior to my wedding. I think it's all the running around and the stress on your mind and body that does it!

Re: Shrinkage
Do not feel bad. 30 lbs is A LOT. It took me two years to drop 24 lbs. Look at it this way, weight that comes off very slowly will stay off. You've managed to keep it off all this time. I've lost a few lbs here and there before and it would all come back after a weekend of fun. Plus you still have a lot of time before your wedding....as you notice most brides said they started to lose most of their weight close to their wedding date.
