Hi Ok this might sound so shallow of me and I tend to not act like this but I am getting ready to ask my bridesmaids and MOH to be in our wedding. My Moh is my sister 28 yrs old, 1 BM 31, 1 BM 31, & another BM would be 43. Do you think thats too old of an age to ask someone to be in you're wedding party. Shes my neighbor and I love her to death and she is more than excited about this? Am I being stupid?

No! That's not too old! Ask away! The wedding party consists of the group of people whom love you and whom you love to death! Age doesn't matter! ASK!

My sister in law is in my bridal party and she is also in her 40s so I don't think it is old.

Ask way...One of my BM is 48 (looks 40). She is so near and dear to my heart and FH that I could not imagine my wedding without her in it. I received so much crap from friends and acquaintances but I love and stick by my decision. HTH

No way! My mom was in a wedding for someone much younger (27) 2 years ago and she was 45- Age isnt what matters, its the relationship you have with the person and who you want standing besides you on your wedding day!

Nope not at all-I'll be 24 when we get married, my MOH is my aunt and she is 43 and my other aunt is one of my BM's-40. My BMs range from 15-40. I don't think it matters at all.

I really do not think age matters for your Bridesmaid...if this person means that much to you.....then GO FOR IT!! Who cares if they are 12 or 112 (ok i know no one can be 112) but you get the idea!! HTH and GL

My bridesmaids are 46, 20 and 9. It's def not too old. Your bridal party should be people who you truly care about and want by your side on this special day. Besides, I hear horror stories of people wanting to edit people out of photos years later so I wanted to make sure these people would be in my life always.
