Shutterfly Share Sites

Shutterfly Share Sites

OK so I set up a shutterfly share site, but I don't understand, how do people go in and add pictures. It doesn't seem like you can just go on and add them. Do they have to have your log in and password?

I am so confused by this.

I was confused with it as well. From what I understand you can set it up so no passwords are necessary, they have to open an account and then they can upload their pics onto your site. Everyone can pick and chose what prints they want. You can also set it up so that you 'Add' people like facebook for additional privacy. I did it the first way. In case you are interested I made 200 cards on vista print so people can take them home with your site name for free (except shipping).

Do they have to be members of your site to upload photos, I don't have everyones e-mail addresses.

I believe they have to be. It was really really confusing. Practically everyone I know has one and that is really the only reason I went with them. I wasn't crazy about the way they set it up.

They have 2 create a login to join through your site and then they can add to your site. HTH.

For my shutterfly site, you don't need to create a log in to go to the page, upload pics, or see pics. You just need to know our password.

Create the shutterfly share site. Create a password (I used our new last name). Ask someone who doesn't have shutterfly to go to the webpage and enter the password you created for it. It should work so they have the option to 'add photos' without being asked to sign up or anything.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I got a bunch of pics from friends this way, but not too too many. Most people still opted to put them on facebook.

here is mine if this helps

there should be a area to click to either add pics to albums already that are up or they can make their own new albums.

Its stressing me out to much. I just didn't want everyone to post on FB because you can't download high quality copies of the pics.
