The topic came up at rosh hashana dinner the other night. I have a feeling FH and his sister want a special dance at our wedding. I love his sister but I am not sure how I would feel about the dance. I don't plan on having a special dance with my older brother. He is a great brother but we just don't have that kind of relationship.
Is anyone doing a sibling dance?

we're not. but thats only bc iam the youngest of 8, and FH only has a brother BUT my sisters wedding her husband and his sister did a dance. it was cute, they started off to a slow song then broke into a hip hop fast song. it lasted all of 2 mins and that was it. now me ---- ehhhh im not as kind as my sister so im glad FH has a brother! lol

Since i am not close with my dad at all (parents got divorced basically when i was born) i will dance with my mom when they do the parents dance, and they at some point the dj will say something like Shannon has another special man in her life blah blah blah and we will dance.... not a clear the dance floor type a dance just an acknowledgement

my brother might laugh in my face if I suggested that LOL. That's not to say I won't dance with my brother - just not as a 'special dance' with just the two of us.

Nah!! Then my family would say to me 'well, why don't you have a dance with grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, mom, brothers etc.' get my drift?

Thanks girls! It hasn't been officially brought up yet. But I like the idea of having a song where I would dance with my brother at the same time as FH dancing with his sister if its going to happen.

aww this is such a nice idea..my brother is like my best friend so is my sister, but she's different and we're so the same if that makes any sense. Since she is my MOH I would love to do something like that and FH could dance with his sister at the same time! good job!! lol Now what song??
