I'm sick of people making up dumb reasons why they cant come to my wedding. I dont know about other people, but i always WANT to go to weddings and try to make my schedule fit around it. Do they not want the expense of it?? I cant figure it out!! Maybe they just dont like me but at least make up a normal reason why you cant come. Dont tell me that u have to drive your kid to baseball practice that night!!!! Who knows that 2 months in advance??!!! Its so annoying! Ok vent over. thanks for listening.

Aw that ***** People are so wierd. I think that sometimes weddings can bring out the worst in people - ironic b/c it's supposed to be such a 'magical' day.

Ok well the wording was not exact - but thats what they were saying - they had to run their kids around to sports or something. Its a work person, not a close friend or anything, but still- make up a decent excuse!!

I dont get it. I always felt honored to be invited and so excited when I was. Its a huge expense for the couple and if they think I am worth spending $$ on by inviting me... I am THERE!
I guess just be happy they arent coming if they dont want to share your day ... those that do will be there with bells on and happy about it!

lol.... I seriously can relate. I invited someone that I used to work with. We talk through email at least twice a week. For the last year (since she got our std card) she has gone on and on about how she can't wait to see me in my dress and to be there for our big day. Yet- then I get an email from her that she got our invitation but won't be able to make it bc she has to bring her son to a lax game that weekend. lol
I was okay with that- we need to get our numbers down anyways but how weird!! lol

I'm so sorry. People are retarded sometimes. I had someone tell my mother (a month in advance) that they had a funeral to go to the same day as my shower. But in the end, the people that care about you will make a point to be there.

omg i am getting annoyed too. like people who don't want to go to my shower because it's in nj or people who are already telling me they'll be preg or have school or their husbands work on weekends or they work on weekends, etc. gimme a break, i went to all yer crap. ha ha! sorry i have to laugh, but i hear what you're saying. i'm such a bitter biat ch.

09'er crashing, but unfortunately I can already relate! One of FH's friends told us, when we said we were engaged and the date of the wedding and location, that he would 'try to be able to to make it.' I mean, we gave you a YEAR's advance notice! Surely you could make some free time?
