Sick to my stomach....

Original post by PoppedInASnap

So, for those of you who do not know... my grandfather passed a couple of years ago. He was the person I consider to be my father... and without him I feel lost.

FH says I bring him up DAILY. But the reason isbecause, I can not believe he is gone...

Anyway... here is my problem. My Aunt, a terrible trash face b*tch who cares about nothing but her bleach blond hair and nails... who SMOKED NEXT TO HIM WHILE HE WAS ON AN OXYGEN TANK DYING OF LUNG CANCER.... took ALL OF HIS CLOTHES and put them under her BED.

Now, he hated her. We all hate her. However, my mother bought 90 percent of those clothes for him....

For my wedding I wanted to make my ring pillow out of one of his shirts, and, usehis shirt as the cloth for my bo-k and make a garder out of it. This way, he is LITERALLY walkiing with me down the aisle.

I e-mailed my uncle to ask him for TWO of the 100 items of clothing. And I was just informed that I may have caused a war...

I know its not my uncle.... its HER. But, why cant i have TWO PIECES OF HIS CLOTHING??? WHy cant i have two pieces when I HAVE NOTHING????

I do not know how he or she will respond... but i am sick to my stomach right now because of it...

After i sent it i said 'Geeze what did I do' but I wrote the letter so nice.... and nothing mean. But he is not on aol so i could not unsend it...

please keep me in your prayers that this does not blow out of proportion, as my nerves are a mess already....

Hey if she's that much of a witch, I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of wanting something from her, even if it is your grandfathers.

I think a nice alternative is to have a picture of your grandfather framed on a small table next to you and the groom at the wedding with a vase of flowers in honor of him. I've seen this done before at weddings

You can even light a candle for him or have a special prayer said for him at your ceremony. I think if you still honor him in some way.

You can even have the band/dj dedicate a song to him and maybe you can dance with your mom to it?? just a thought

hope this helps

Yeah, that is true. I was planning on doing that as well, but I physically did want to have apart of him with me...

i know it sounds odd and strange, but my father is walking me down and I DO NOT WANT HIM to! So, I felt like a piece of him would be my security blanket....

Do you have anything else of his that you can walk down the aisle with?

I wanted to put my grandmother's rosary in my bo-k. I once worked with a guy who had his grandfather's crucifix and his wife wore it on their wedding day.

Just an idea just in case your aunt is a total dimwit about this.
