sigh..... digital8 tape conversion?????

I have a bit of a problem... I was thrilled my BIL taped virtually all of our wedding with his camcorder... especially since my other BIL (who had our new camcorder) did such a taping job himself....

well, we got a box in the mail yesterday... and it looked almost like a cassette apparently, this is our wedding.... on an old-school digital8 tape.... I actually had to look it up online to figure that out

does anyone know somewhere that converts these tapes into DVD's (ideally in suffolk)? SIL only knows of a place near flatbush

TIA!!!!

You can try L & L Camera on New York Avenue in Huntington. They converted a bunch of old family films to DVD a couple of years ago for me.

Good luck!
