I just spoke to our coordinator at our reception hall, she is so sweet, and she said to start thinking of a signature drink -2 of them-for our recption, as well as a non-achcoholic(there is no spell check on here!)--can anyone help me out here, she suggested something w/ a red color since it is the fall.....or orange, etc.....i am now going to be racking my brain on this thanks!!!!

i had a really good drink in Vegas that i love to have here .. take a glass and dip the rim of it in water or blue curacao and then in sugar so that the rim of the glass is covered..then pineapple juice, blue curacao and top it off with champagne!!

I know we have a few bartenders on here.
I made a great drink (got from cosmo) for New Years. It reminded me of big red gum but not as hot. And it was soo pretty the cranberry color with the gold flakes from the goldshlogger.
Cranbery juice Soli Vanilla a splash of goldshlogger shaken and strained - served with a cinnamon stick garnish
Play around with the amounts I dont know how strong you want it.

If your looking for something orange colored, you can try the creamsicle. Tastes just like the ice cream. You can try it at friday's. They dont have it on their menu anymore, but they do make it. it's and orange pastel color.

I have one that I pulled out of a Modern Bride magazine years ago.
Rose Petal Margarita
2 oz. tequila 1 oz. cointreau 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice 7 petals of a fragrant rose
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake gently, without pulverizing rose petals. Serve on the rocks with lime wheel garnish.
I dunno...sounded interesting so I hung on to it. Never tried it though...

Chocolate Martini Serves 2 people
Ingredients 100ml (4 floz) Grey Goose Vodka 50ml (2 floz) Chocolate Liqueur Ice cubes 25ml (1 floz) Sugar Syrup Four chocolate chunks. Two to garnish & two for the rim of the glass
To serve Using two pieces of chocolate make two lollipops. Finely grate the remaining chunks. Dip the rim of the glasses into the sugar syrup then into the grated chocolate. Pour the vodka and liqueur into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until very cold, pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lollipop…

those are sooo good. Tastes like jolly ranchers watermellon lol what about long island ice teas?? your on long island and I think they are orange lol orrrrrr strawberry daqori (sp?) they are a nice red
