Signed up for Weight Watchers today...

I missed the meeting but they registered me and gave me the materials she said I would need and then weighed me Found out my scale at home is off 10lbs. How long was it before you started to lose weight? Is it necessary to buy the calculator or the dining out book? Im going to a meeting tommorow night in Baldwin.

good for you for signing up...the ww scale is a bit higher than mine at home too...but ww weighed me with my sneakers on! LOL
I did not buy the calculator, but I bought the complete foods book and dining out book. Good luck this week, it is hard for the first few days...but you will get used to it. I'm here if you need me.

No registration fee until March 5th. Then it's $15.

I got the points calculator for free, but is that because I went to the meeting?

I HIGHLY recommend the points calculator - I couldn't live without it!

Good for you! WW has said that statistically, people lose the most weight in the first 3 weeks, so if you follow the program, you will probably lose right away.

It isn't really necessary to buy any of their products, but I do have some of the cookbooks and I did buy the dining out and complete food companion books. The one I find the most helpful is the complete food companion - that is the one I always go to if I am not sure how to count something. dining out is good if you eat at a lot of fast food or chain restaurants.

This is also a great site for restuarants:
