Significant Other Vent

What's your biggest FH pet peeve?

I hate ESPN. I especially hate when he says, 'uh huh' when he is watching ESPN. It drives me nuts!!!!

I HATE the 'Uh huh' I also hate when DH uses 'Yes Dear' on me. For some reason, that phrase is like nails on a chalk board to me

it's funny that you bring this up because FH and I were discussing this the other day....what bad habits we have. I hate when we are eating dinner with his family and he gets up and goes into the living room when he is done eating....it's so rude!! he has gotten better with it though!! lol.

i hate it when i remind him of something that I KNOW he will forget - and he does the 'YES, MOTHER' calling me MOTHER drives me MAD!

He is very bad with directions, so I drive everywhere (he also isn't the best driver). Every time we go someplace that he doesn't recognize or if we drive a way he's not familar with, he will go 'Where are you going? Why are you turning here? Why are you going this way?' He constantly questions every turn I make. Annoys the H out of me.

This is a great post...I could go on all day! I am a hustler, whereas my FH moves so slow he's going backwards. It drives me NUTS! He's in la la land all the time!

But the worst thing that drives me crazy is his stupid cell phone! He can NOT depart from it! AND he's one of those really rude people on their cell. You know who I'm referring to...the person who yaps loudly in stores and at parties. He acts like he is the privacy of his own home! He's like a social disgrace! Yup, my friends, I'm marrying ONE OF THOSE! I'm just grateful he got rid of his Nextel!

My other pet peeve is when he sits and watches TV or plays xbox for hours and then i sit in front of the computer for 5 minutes and it's 'all you ever do....' really??? cause for 4 hours i listened toa fake john madden call plays!!!

I actually bought my FH a mug that says 'yes dear' on it.. cause that's all he says!!!!

I love that!!!! I may have to copy cat that from you!!!!

Seriously, no matter what I say, he will use that on me.

'Honey - water is leaking in the basement'... 'Yes Dear'

'Honey - your hair is on fire' - 'Yes Dear'

My FH will watch countless hours of discovery channel...american chopper...myth busters...and some show from china were all these men do stupid tricks like jumping on logs floating in water....it drives me so nuts like how does he watch this stuff??

Oh, AND, he always sneaks turning the heat down...like I won't notice??!!!

Here is a story....I usually ask FH whch shes look better. One day i had the same pair of shoes on and I asked 'do these look good?' FH said 'the one on the right' I caught him finally not paying attention to what I say I thought it was hysterical! The 'uh huh' bothers me to.

That reminds me of the commercial with the guy in the shoe store with his girlfriend.

She brings out 3 pairs but they look identical to him. haha

I wore a dress to FH's friend's wedding this weekend that I had worn to an occasion of my family's. Anyway, FH tells me I look great and asks if it's a new dress! A new dress!! Not only did I wear it before, but he was with me! Men!
