Silk or freeze dried rose petals - can you tell the difference?

Freeze dried are so much more expensive, but I am afraid silk may look too fake.

What I want them for is the cocktail tables, placecard table, cake table and our dais.

Also if you used one or the other, please let me know where and if you think it was a good deal. The only place online for freeze dried that looks decent is www.lookalive.com and I found one for silk petals at studiogift.com

Thank you
Mary

If you want fresh, check with Burtons. For $50, I have enough to cover 25 tables!!!
