Silk or real petals?

Silk or real petals?

For those having petal cones at the ceremony, which are you using? Either way, we have to get someone to clean them up. The florist I'm thinking about going with charges about $75 for real petals. Which should I use?

TIA!!

Are you using them inside or out?

I was thinking of using silk. They are cheaper and theres less chance of the color staining the dress. They will be tossed anyway.

Real petals stain. Some places don't even allow real petals.

We're doing fake. Our ring bearer is pulling our flowergirl down the aisle in a decorated wagon. We're going to surround her with petals in the wagon and let her throw them over the side. I would hate for her pretty white dress to be stained.

I did use real petals. However, Jada I do love that idea of the ring bearer pulling the flowergirl in the wagon. That is so cute.

My daughter Jada is only 2 and very shy. There's no way that she'll walk down the aisle.

We used real ones inside. My 2 flower girls were 3 at the time and I don't think they got more dropped more than 3 each.

Outside we used freeze dried petals. They were much lighter and floated longer in the air. Once they hit the ground and people stepped on them, they just crumbled so no one had to sweep them up.

Where did you get the freeze dried from? The petals are for both inside and out...for FGs as they walk down the aisle then throwing them from cones outside.
