silk vs. real rose petels

My florist was going to charge me almost $200 for rose petels!!! So Im thinking of getting silk for the aisle. My flower girl will be tossing real ones, but I wanted to line the sides of the aisle in more petels. Do you think anyone will be able to tell that tehy are fake?

I think the silk ones would be fine! They are going on the ground anyway and you're right-why spend that kind of money
I bought my rose petals from ebay.

Save the money and go for the silk ! I have seen them online for under $20.

thats crazy- I would try the silk ones- if you are worried that they will look fake- try the freeze dried ones- they're pretty cheap and stay beautifully

I'd go for silk for two reasons:
#1 Less expensive
#2 Real petals can stain

Gina, no one will know. Get the fakies!

Now, if you were planning to use real ones on a table, I would do that. If people are sitting there staring, they will be able to tell, and sometimes, fake ones can look realllly fake up close. But if you find ones that are really well done, you can't tell!
