i have good long nails except they tend to peel which then makes them short. i asked my nail place about it and they are insisting that i must have a tip but i dont want a tip. i just want my own nails to be reinforced is this possible??
please help!

I don't do extensions, i do silk wraps. the just place the silk ontop of my nail and put glue and powder over it. It's not the healthiest thing because when youtake them off, your nails are weak. But I've been geting them done every two weeks for about 2.5 years now and I love them. I just ask for them short and thin so they look natural.

they usualy recommend a tip at first then it just grows out as time goes on
you can also do UV gel on your own nails
They recommended the tip with the UV gel, the once my nails grow out, they can just to the gel over my nail.

They won't give you the wrap without the tip? That makes no sense. What about a gel or glue manicure. Again not hte best for your nails.

I was going to this FABULOUS place in Babylon village called Cara di Spa. They are amazing, but were rude to me last time i went, so this last time, i went somewhere else. If you go there ask for nancy or Julie. both do really great work.

they are right across form gimelli's restaurant in the village.
and they are cheap. a full set is $40 and a fill in is $20
