I put the ones I wanted on my registry---I also put on the cake cutting set
I already got the flutes from my FMIL
I think you can buy them if you wanted or put them on the registry---I am not sure if RH provides that--but I am not positive

Ask your RH. At ours, they provided plain ones, but agreed to use customized ones as long as we gave it to them a few days beforehand.

I'd imagine you don't HAVE to get special ones, I mean you could always use the same champagne glasses that all your guests are drinking from.

We put ours on our registry and got them as an engagement gift, I thought it would be nice to have them as a keepsake and be able to use them again on anniversaries, etc.

The same applies to the cake cutting set. We ended up buying that ourselves though, b/c we didn't receive it as a gift prior to the wedding.

YOu dont have to buy them if you dont want to, the RH will provide them and servers if need be. We bought ours and truthfully I dont think we will ever use them again

I am just going to ask the RH to provide us with toasting flutes and cake servers. While I believe it is a nice sentiment, I just think it is money that I don't need to spend b/c they will just sit in their boxes in a closet after the wedding.

True..but you could always display them in your china closet or out in your home as a momento from the big day! JMO

FH's aunt got them for us as a gift - she got them engraved with our names and wedding date. i dont LOVE them and would have preferred different ones - but they are cute and special b/c she got them for us.....so those are what we will be using!

Re: silly flute question

I really wanted to use our own and went and bought them already (didn't talk to them yet at the RH but I know it's not a problem)
The pics are in my album if you want to see what they look like. They look so much nicer in person than the pictures do.
