Re: Silly INVITE question?

Mine are different depending on my relationship with them.

Close friends and family are addressed familiarly, parents friends are addressed as Mr. and Mrs. X

Re: Silly INVITE question?

Either was is correct - it's however you want to address. But, if you use Mr. and Mrs., you do not use first names -just the last name.

I did the same thing. Close relatives on the inside said Grandma XXX, Mom and Dad, etc. I did everyone else as Mr. and Mrs. x or Ms. X and guest. No first names on the inner envelopes.

Re: Silly INVITE question?

We just addressed the inner envelopes for immediate family, Grandma, Aunt Sue, etc. My calligrapher recommended not writing all of them out. It saved us some money.
