Silly problem, but...

Hi ladies... i got married a few months ago and the wedding was beautiful. We recently got the pictures back and they came out really great too. There is only one problem... I had planned on doing a french manicure for the wedding, but two things stopped me. first of all, i had an ugly bruise under one nail and was afraid that the light nail polish for the french manicure would not cover it. second, i had planned to get my hair done professionally on the day of the wedding and get my nails done the afternoon before. well, i had a problem with the beautician and ended up having to do my hair myself. i was really nervous and worried about that, so i was kind of not in my right mind. i felt that i didn't have the time to get my nails done the day before and just did them myself, a nice pink-rose color. well, my hair turned out fine but now when i look at the pictures i think my nail polish looks kind of dark. i know it is so silly, but it bothers me! is it totally improper to have a darker colored nail polish for the wedding? hopefully someone can make me feel better, haha. other than that everything was great. let me know what you think!! i don't want to send pics to people in which my nails show if this is totally improper. i can just send ones where they are covered by my bouquet. i know i am ridiculous, but please help!! thanks!!

> My fiancee and I are having our wedding at the Thatched Cottage in Centerport, (Huntington area). The place is very very quaint, pretty inside, the outside grounds are gorgeus and we are getting married out there in a gazebo with cocktail hour outside to follow. GOOD LUCK!

First off, I'm glad your wedding went well and you were happy with almost everything. Second, I don't think this is a silly question. I personally don't think there's a problem with dark nail polish. I watch the Wedding Story ALL the time and often see a lot of brides with dark polish. Remember when you were planning for your big day, you should have heard a million times, "it's your day, and you should do what you want" The same phrase applies in this situation. If you feel uncomfortable with the pictures and feel you would have to explain to everyone why you wore dark polish, then you shouldn't sen the pictures.

Good luck with your decision.

Hi There: Just an FYI: Your photographer can color out your nail polish and show your nails white. They can do everything now! It might be great for you to do for some of your favorite portraits! Then you can look at them and pretend you never had it on! Good Luck

>It's funny you say that--we're 24/26 and HIS family gave us such opposition to living together that we aren't...AND he just graduated as a doctor!! My family would have been thrilled with us living together b/c they hate me living alone while I'm in school. Family can be a real pain at times...!
