Silly question

Ok...I know this is probably a sill question...for the vendors that get paid the day of (Like DJ, Cantor, Florist), do I pay them before the wedding or when they are finished?

I was thinking just to include the tip in the envelope with payment (so I didn't have to make 2 envelopes). But, I'm not sure when they should get them?

I am giving the $ envelopes to the best man. He will pay the band as soon as he gets to the reception hall. Our church will be paid in advance.

My mom will pay the limo guy when he gets to the hotel.

The best man will also have an envelope of cash for tips. But, we will tell him toward the end of the night how much to give to the Maitre D, etc. It all depends on how the service is.
