Silly Question

Hi all! At your recepton, is anyone going to have a birdcage for any cards, etc. that they receive, or a bag, or nothing? Thanks!

Having either a money bag- that my greataunt will hold for me or one of those cakes with a slot... they make some pretty ones...
i am not a fan of the birdcage-- dont like how it looks, but also i feel that envelopes can enter and exit too easily

I had a nice hat box that didn't have a slot. As people gave us cards we put them in the box.

At a wedding I went to recently they had something that looked like a mailbox on their table. I thought it looked pretty bad. I think I'm going to have a nice silk bag that I will be leaving with one of my older relatives who won't be too 'up and down' all evening.

I rented an envelope mail box that sat on a table beside us. It was great and came in handy.

There has been a white bird house used in everyone's wedding in my family (now it's my turn!). Everyone just decorates it with their own wedding colors.
All the guest seem to love it!
