Silly Question

After a vendor gives you their quote, how many of you actually bargain down the price and is it usually successful?

Silly Question

I was never successful at that. I even called vendors with quotes that I got from here, and they would always say why that quote for that couple was an exception.

Woodbury CC was the worst.

My FH is an ex car salesman so he ALWAYS tries to bargain. If I went alone, we wouldn't have had any change in price haha.

Silly Question

I've bargained with every single vendor and it's worked every time! I do usually drop Cheeky Glams name or convince them that I'm all over this website like white on rice refering vendors I'm using.

Every time I mention this website, Joe throws in 'yeah, and she just got her tee shirt.' I've had at least 3 vendors say 'oh liweddings brides are pretty serious'. And by serious I think they mean a little crazy

I didn't bother to bargain because my venue threw in Viennese hour for free and I thought that was more than enough for the price we are paying.

Silly Question

I bargained down my band a little bit and got them to throw in an extra ceremony musician.
I seriously tried to play hardball at one particular RH we considered, but they were NOT having it. I was quoted WAY higher than I've seen on the boards and heard from other people. When I said 'ok, we're walking' they just wished me luck! So either it was them or I just have terrible negotiating skills!
