This might be a silly question, but I was wondering on the wedding day for the ceremony am I supposed to wear my engagement ring? I know the wedding band is supposed to go on the inside, but I think it would look dumb taking my engagement ring off to put the wedding band on during the ceremony. What do you girls think?

I'm just gonna have fh put my wedding band on and then switch them after the ceremony. I know some people wear thier ering on the right hand but I have a ring on my right hand that my dad gave to my mom 38 years ago that I never take off.
It's actually not a silly question! I was confused about this too! My mother will be in the limo with me on the way to the church since my dad wants to be surprised and see me right before he walks me down the aisle. I think I may just give my mother my ring when I get out of the limo and she will give it back to me after the ceremony.

I am going to keep it on the same finger it's always on and FH can put my wedding ring on next to it. I can always switch it afterwards. E-ring only fits my one finger. :/
