Silly question...what happens next?

So these may be 'stupid' questions, but I figured I should ask someone, instead of continuing to wonder.

I booked my RH a while ago and I am due to get married in about 1 year

Does the RH contact me for food and cake tasting or do I contact them (if so when)?

Does my RH bridal attendant contact me before the wedding (if so, how soon after)? Or is he/she introduced the day of the wedding?

When do I communicate with my RH the details of my wedding and how I want the lay out to be?

My BM did not detail this when I booked

I am glad you saved me looking like a stalker! I was contemplating on calling them and asking them all these 'preliminary' questions.

This. JT sent me a letter requesting that I make a 'semi-final appointment'. We met with them about 2 months out and chose our menus, cake, and discussed small details that day. Then the next time we met out banquet manager was 2 weeks before the wedding. That's when we brought in most of our stuff- cake topper, toasting flutes, candy buffet, etc. We dropped off our escort cards the day before the wedding.

We actually signed our contract subject to a tasting so it happened within 2 weeks of when we booked (and it's the same month next year so their seasonal menu won't change much)

Our BM contacts us on a regular basis for any questions or concerns that we have

The attendant that I will have for the day also reached out and contacted me...

I think you will be okay if you wait to hear back from them but honestly you should never feel weird or shy about asking your RH questions like this, you pretty much hired them for the day of your wedding and they will be more than happy to accommodate you and your questions :)

This is true. You'll definitely have some random questions throughout the next year that you'll need to call them and ask.
