My FI does not wear jewelry and said he really doesn't want to wear a wedding band. I have no problem with this (my dad doesn't wear a ring either)
I do think he needs some kind of band for the wedding day though so I need to get one that is really plain.
Obviously it doesn't need to be platinum or gold because he will only wear it for a few hours.
Has anyone done this and if so - where did you find one? I know it shouldn't be too difficult and I haven't started looking. just thought I'd ask.

Just a plain silver band should be easy. Look at a flea market or something.

What about Titanium...it's got a gunmetal silver look to it, it's pretty inexpensive and virtually indestructible if it's the right percentage of titanium. FH ring was only $150 and he loves it!

we both have silver rings - from the flea market in sayville. We didn't want to spend the money on the rings - they are important, but just a symbol. We bought beautiful rings and all those who see it compliment them.

My FH hates jewelry too and probably will not wear his ring much. He got a plain simple white gold band for $200. It only cost that much because he got a thicker band with a smoothe inside and he has big fingers. It took im five minutes to pick it out.

I second the titanium. They are so light and inexpensive.
