I'm trying to decide between SilverFox and Twelfth Night -- does anyone have any opinions????
Basically SilverFox is more expensive, but I LOVE their work and since one of my BMs used them and has nothing but excellent things to say about them they were my first choice.
Here's thier package: 2 photographers for up to 12 hours 30 prints (4x6, 5x7, or 8x10s) of our choice free all are proofs printed all images on CD for us to print, etc. . .
Ultimately I think 12th Night offers a basically comparable package for about $700 less.
But here's their actual package: 8 hours (main photog) 4 hours (photojournalist) all images on CD for us to print, etc. . . engagement portrait
Their albums are totally comprable, but we're not dealing with that yet.
Any thoughts appreciated -- especially from former 12th Night brides!

I never looked into SilverFox, but I am happy with what I got from 12th Night.

I thought Silverfox had very reasonable prices and the great thing is that it is a la carte.
They are definetly worth the money.
I have heard great things about 12th also. Can't go wrong either way
I just fell in love with SilverFox and have heard nothing but great things about them

We used Twelfth Night and were thrilled. Dom and Geraldine were our photographers.
I really wish I had a scanner, because I really think the black and white photojournalistic shots are especially gorgeous. The color digital shots were beautiful too. We were really so happy with our photos.

my vote is for Twelfthnight- we love our pics and I will get some on here soon.
Whoever you decide they are both great choices. I think you should meet with bith- love Dominic @ Twelfthnight and go with who makes you most comfortable.
My friends where blowna way by my proofs and the whole DVD presentation.

I absolutely love Silverfox - we just picked up our proofs this past week and I am so happy!!! Our photographer Don was amazing - worked with us and took every picture we wanted off the 'must take' list. Plus we have a beautiful CD/DVD with all our pictures !!!

comparing the two packaes you're listing, you're actually getting 12 hours less coverage in the cheaper package. I don't think that's comparable. i think that's why it's $700 cheaper..you just have to decide if 12 hours is worth $700. i think it is

We had the same dilemma and in all it came down too who do we want to work with. Dom and Leah fro Silverfox were amazing (I have some proofs on the review board) and I came back with apprx 2000 proofs.
12th Night was equally as good, but I was just more comfortable with the Silverfox crew.

we used 12th night - we were more comfortable with them and liked their ideas/attitude/etc., i would say go with whomever you liked better, pics are both about bang for buck but also comfort...if you like your photographers your pics will come out nicer, and thats what matters in the end too! also check with silver fox that the pics they are showing you were indeed taken by who would be doing your pics - we went to a few places (not silver fox but others, and i figured it could help someone if i mentioned it!) who showed us pics but that the photographers we met with had not taken, so its something to consider when using a 'larger' studio too...all in all though, go with your gut and your fh's gut! either one is great! good luck!

I think quality and talent wise both are comparable. We decided to go with 12th night however because we able to meet with the people who would be photographing the wedding prior to booking and that was important to us.
