since being engaged

i know! the arguing and nagging about when we will get married as suddenly dissapeared! i would say that has been our only change since thats the only thing we ever bickered about

i think alot is going to change for us when we get married...

we will be moving in together...i will be moving from queens to long island... and i will be starting a new job as an RN !!


sooo many things !!! i can't wait !!!

things kind of changed for us since getting engaged, because we moved in together 2 weeks later, but that had been planned for months so it wasn't a surprise and we were used to eachothers habits so it wasnt a big adjustment -- it was just nice.

things havent changed that much since getting married, since we stayed in our apt, DH went back to work, I went back to school, etc. I'll probably change my name when I'm back in NY over thanksgiving but i'm kind of in this void where I don't completely know what to tell people when I ask my name, since most times they need to know my legal name.

We do have more stress now because we're in the time period where i need to accept a permanent job offer and i have offers in 2 cities -- either way it will be a big decision to make. however, its the same issue we would have faced had we been engaged, married, or still seriously dating.

merging finances--we started this process after we got engaged by opening a joint checking account. the only other thing is that our talk about and has taken on a whole new significance because it's a realistic and at times looming possibility.

our wedding day will be our 6th anniversary, and we've lived together for more than 3 of those years.

we have been engaged almost 6 months now. we have been together over 6 years, living together for almost 4 years and nothing really has changed. We are planning the wedding now and planning on buying a house.
We merged our finances when we first moved in together almost 4 years ago.

we are still madly in love though!

I feel like everything has changed however..In the past few months we have 1) got engaged, 2) moved in together, 3) combined our finances and 4) he started a new job.... I think its a combination of all the above but we tend to fight more.. usually about money consider this wedding is making us broker than broke!! I just cant wait for the wedding to come so I can finally not have to save every penny for it!
