Since we are on the topic of HM's..................

Original post by AS

I have started my hotel researching for Italy and Greece. OOHHHH MY GOODNESSSSS there are thousands of beautiful hotels to choose from Girls that booked their HM or girls that are in the process, what did you/are you going to look for in a hotel before you book(ed). I think this is going to be my biggest obstacle. Everywhere, everything is soooo beautiful.

Where is he located? I might do my research online and compare it to his prices!

greeka.com and greecetravel.com

I'm not sure where your going in Greece if it's mykonos check out the mykonos grand, great location and good reviews.

i think first you need to narrow down where in italy you want to go, besides Rome, and then start thinking of hotels. I'm going to be doing the same; my friend brought me her frommer's book (she just went for like 2 weeks) on italy so once i figure out where i'm going i'll look into hotels.

if i find anything really good i'll let you know...

its hard to finally make a decision on places/ hotels you want to do it all. Honeymoon boards are very helpful! and read reviews

I don't usually use a travel agent (I have my certification but do nothing with it). I usually just book trips online.

However when going on your honeymoon and overseas with multi destinations I strongly recommend getting a Travel Agent and INSURANCE.

Agents get deals, have connections and know more about the hotels, activities and destinations. The frommers books are helpful but find an agent you like and sit and talk with them. They will be able to narrow things down for you and really help you out.
