My good friend (coworker) had to break off her engagement the other day. This was supposed to be her year also :( She is moving out and needs to find a home for her 10 yr. old female pit. If anyone can pass the word on, it would be so helpful to her during this already heartbreaking experience.

What id do is enlist a rescue to help rehome the dog while holding on to it.

Try ruff house rescue in oceanside.

Tell her not to put the dog in a shelter bc a 10 year old pit has virtually no chance or being adopted and will be put down

Plus rehoming a 10 year old dog really depresses them. They dont understand why their owner abandoned them. Pits are really sensitive and loyal dogs. They get really depressed in a shelter
