Since when am I crazy?

The wedding is officially 15 days away, and I still have so many little things to do, and I am starting to lose it. Do girls really get everything done? Or are there things that people don't do, but go unnoticed? I am trying to keep my sanity so I can enjoy the day, but I am realizing why people hire wedding coordinators. How can people do this and work a full time job?

Do you ladies get help from your FH? My FH was helping me the other night by watching TV and watching over my shoulder as I picked out the last few things we need from Amazon. I lost it and said 'can you try to get something done also, like working on the groomsmen gifts, your mom's gift or....' I felt so bad, I never snap like that, but my mind was spinning thinking about the fact that we have almost 2 weeks left and still yet so much to do. When can I switch from planning mode to enjoying mode?

You are alot closer than I am, but I started to eliminate things off my list. Once I meet with my hall and finalize things, I might be knocking the table numbers and menus off my DIY list.

FH does help a little, but after he does the one little thing I ask, he pretty much looses interest and turns on the Mets game.

If I were you, I would try and ask your BM for help. If they cannot help, start knocking those not so important items off your list. That way you will not make yourself crazy

thank goodness i'm not alone! i am 4 months away and i already feel like this. i tried explaining to FH that i constantly have a million things to do and ideas going through my head and that its really effin hard to make decisions... and hes like 'put the Mets game on' then i mentioned that i wanted to get some stuff out of the way now rather than leaving it to the end...well, he didn't believe me that it gets really hectic the month or so before so we ended up getting into an argument over it. like W T F????!! I am showing this to him when i get home from work!!

We are getting married the same day girl, and I feel the crunch too. Hard. I did SO much this last year, you really don't realize how accelerated the last 8-12 weeks are. And now at 2 weeks it's just insane. I make lists. I know that sounds really lame, but it's the only way I can sleep at night without my mind racing. I write lists of what I have to do and I go crossing them off and starting new lists once the old ones are done. FH does help me with anything I need though, which is awesome. I have to say I am very lucky in that boat. But I kind of am a control freak and do mostly all myself. He does more physical errands and go-fer type shiz for me. FM me if you need support on specific tasks or you just need to vent to a date twin!!!! Mad love girl!!!! xoxoxoxo

You guys are great, thanks for the kind words. I think that I have to stop my mini melt downs by asking for more help. I re-did my list today, and it is actually starting to look manageable. Thanks again!

I'm a list freak too!!! Only I make lists then lose them and make new ones and lose them and make new ones. SO there are lists EVERYWHERE!!! And I don't even get to complete all the things on my list!! AHHH.. I'm going to be a nut job when I get this close to my big day!!
