TWO DIFFERENT POST OFFICES!!!! I just left my invites there and I have my fingers crossed but still....I thought that's what you were supposed to do???!!!!

my invitations got DESTROYED because they were put through a machine. I would speak with the post master

I did speak tothe post master- that's what he told me- This was in Long Beach. The post office in Island Park said the same thing. They told me they weren't going to hand cancel them though... Whatever- I really hope they arrive ok...i don't have a buckle or anything but they are sealed pocket folds....

thank you for reminding me off this...i just did a test run with my std and the machine stamped over a part of extraneous info (not a huge deal) but i checked with the post office BEFORE sending them and they said it would be fine...well it wasn't!!!! id rather them be perfect
i juuuuust called two post offices...the first was garden city and told me they do hand cancel BUT not in large quantities and it depends on how busy they are...so they said the best bet was to go to a super slow post office or bring them by in small batches...so i called mineola and they said the same thing...as long as its not busy it's up to whatever person there but in small batches or when it's not busy they do it. hope that help!!!!

Not really...they're all out already. Whatever..its not that big of a deal its paper- I just hope they get there in one piece
