My FI and I want to have a good friend of ours sing during the ceremony. The church said fine, but it has to be a sacred song. Does anyone have any ideas? If you've had a singer at the church - what sond did they sing? I'm looking for other options then what is in the hymnal.

Re: Singer at Church?
Hey! Yeah they are strict when it comes to that - I would recommend calling and speaking to the choir director/organist who will be playing. I am not sure who it is right now -not the same as when I used to sing - but they have an amazing music library and he should be able to make some beautiful selections for you to look over and choose - that is what I am going to do - one of my BM's is a singer and I can't wait for her to sing at my wedding!
Hint - remember to find out if they will need a mike - the church take a very powerful voice to fill and they might need a mike to help them out!
