Singers during dinner. Opinions Please!!

I actually (respectfully!) disagree with the other posters.

I'm definitely a fan of cocktail hour singers but during dinner, it's also nice to have someone singing a few tunes. What you have to remember is that they come out 15 mins. before dinner is over. At this point, people are finishing up or relaxing after that big meal.

For me and my theme, it's perfect... but I think for anyone it's a nice touch!

ps. and if your FH is really into it (as mine was) it's nice to give him SOMETHING.

Leese, I SOOOOO agree with you. I am getting a Sinatra singer too and I can't wait!! He is fantastic and I think it is going to be an awesome touch to the wedding.

me too. We are having live music for both CH and dinner- CH there will be a steel drum band and dinner we will have a singer (not a 'sinatra' guy, but will probably sing some sinatra stuff) who also plays piano. I think it will be a really nice touch, and when people finish dinner it will give them something to do.
I think live music is nice at any time.
