Okay...sleeping did not help, I'm just as headache-y and nauseous as last night...
Can I get a neti pot at CVS?? If so I'm gonna march down there right after dropping FSD at the bus...I can't take this anymore.
Thanks girls for the advice...it really really helped.
you can get it anywhere, walgreens, rite aid, target, walmart, etc. its by the nasal sprays usually.

Re: Sinuses?
Neti Pot can help a lot.
I have terrible sinuses, have has 2 surgeries, and still get infections. If you have an infection, the Neti Pot won't cure it, you need to see the dr, but for general sinus pain, the Neti pot can offer a lot of relief.

Re: Sinuses?
Ugh FH has bad sinus problems and nothing works for him. ETA: That pot thingy actually made him way worse, but hopefully it will work for you!

WOW....that Neti Pot is the STRANGEST sensation...so weird.
I suppose I don't feel as much pressure though...that's a good thing.

Re: Sinuses?
If you continue to experience these problems i would suggest to head to an ENT, the pot will only provide relief but not cure it. Try sleeping with a humidifier. Feel better.

Re: Sinuses?
i always have sinus infections and problems and found a few things that help b/c i'm tired of going on antibiotics.
A Saline Nasal spray works. I use it EVERY morning and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.
the original little red Sudafed pills work insanely: no palpatations.
Advil Cold & Sinus is hot and cold sometimes. I used to take it every day so of course it stopped working.
Allegra D (prescription) is the bomb-diggity but very hard to get filled and there is no generic for the D.
Singular is best of the best. More of an asthma medicine but cleans me out completely. Another 1 hard to get filled b/c of no generic.
Mucinex i swear by also. if i wake up in the morning coughing i pop 1 pill and i'm good (sinuses too).
a lot of OTC pills bother me: i feel loopy or get palpitations but found these to work the best.
Claritan does nothing for me, Benadryl Sinus forget it and Tylonel Sinus I had the worst palpitations.

Re: Sinuses?
I have the same problems with my sinuses and its usually on my left side. I have found that nasal spray really works. I use it in the morning and at night I have been doing the Neti pot and both have really helped. Also, i don't know if your house is really warm but I have been putting the heat pretty low and using a humidifier in my bedroom. So far, my sinuses have been some what controlled. HTH!
