I am clueless. I want to get a portable one form home and car. How much, where and which one do I get ?

I heard XM is better. Not sure. PC Richards has them

Oh if it is for Howard then you need Sirius...if you want O&A you need XM!

I just got Sirius Radio for my FH and I got the portable car dock, I think it was like $50 and then I got him the actual radio that you transfer.. I think that was about $99. I also got a one year subscription for around $144.... I got mine online, but I know that Best Buy and Circuit City has them there.. we went there to get some info... it actually may wind up being cheaper there because you probably want to get it installed into your car.. My FH absolutely loves it and says it was the best gift he has ever gotten

Howard won't be on Sirius till 2006. Get XM if you want the better service.

My DH, myself have had XM for some time. We never listen to regular radio anymore. We just got my son one for Christmas on line.

We just bought Sirius for xmas, for the car and home. We LOVE it. I think the service is good and it was $250 total and $157/year for the service.
We bought it at Best Buy.

DH bought Sirius for me for x-mas... he got the free radio through the Howard giveaway.. we got the one for the car.
I think he bought it for me cause he wants to hear Howard.. and rumors are flying that he'll get kicked off KRock and start his Sirius a little earlier... at least that's what DH says..

As far as O and A on XM... It's considered a premium channel that they are on and you have to pay i think 2 dollars extra a month to get that channel... I'd get that in a heartbeat... but DH likes Howard better....

we got the free radio and stuff at the howard stern rally...it came today...we just have to pay for the service for 2005 -- but for $150 we thought we would give it a try and prepare for howard.

you can buy it online or get it at best buy, radio shack etc...

the only way he will be coming to sirius sooner is if he gets bought out of his contract or they kick him off but he earns too much $ for them...
it's like cable tv -- who ever thought they would be paying for TV??

i just ordered sirius for my dh for christmas i think i paid 150 for the radio with both car and home docks. my brother has xm and likes it alot but is only keeping it untill howard stern comes on and then he is switching over

I ordered the Delphi XM for DH from Amazon.com
I dont know too much about it, but I got the XM 1 (?) Anyway, Amazon had it for $119 including the car kit and free activation + no tax
