Is anyone planning on having their hair washed and set and sitting under the dryer for a curly updo?
I know many stylists like the curling iron, but I think the dryer set will hold the curls better. The only problem is figuring out how to sit under the dryer for 40 -50 minutes and then get makeup done without waking up at the crack of dawn.
Anyone else debating between curling iron and dryer set?

I have very thick, very curly, very very long hair, I had my hair washed and then put in rollers and under the dryer for a party a few months back....5.5 hours later my h air was finally dry....no exaggeration....since that experience im sticking with my curling iron

Due to the thickness of my hair, my stylist had used a curling iron at my trial and decided on the day of the wedding, she would be putting me in curlers and under the hair dryer.

My stylist uses a curling iron, I have had an updo stay set from 4 in the afternoon to the next morning (not sleeping on it, but going out partying) and it looked like it just got done.

I have long, thick hair and at my trial, they used a curling iron with very little hairspray. The curls lasted all day and were still there somewhat the next morning.

I had my hair set and was under a dryer. I had my hair appt at 9 and she was done with me by 10;45. It took about 35 minutes to dry and I have medium length fine hair. It was so much better with the rollers. The curling iron would have taken forever and the humidity made my hair drop, so we used the curling iron to touch up.

i work in a shop as long as your hair has enough product and the right size iron you should be able to go pretty much til the next day. i've had people get their hair done for one occasion and have another affair the following day and it didn't budge numerous times. Do u know what it feels like to hear everytime 'will my hair stay, it's not gonna fall out is it?' you'll be fine either way. iHave a great time at your wedding!!!!!!!!!!!
