Holy Crap!!! I thought that he might die, but I can't believe that Nate is actually dead. I guess it makes sense since this the last season. But even thought I kinda expected it, it was still shocking. It's going to be weird without him, but I'm interested to see how it all plays out!!

Re: Six Feet Under
Thank god someone posted this, I was freaked out. I thought he may die, but come on! Could he have any happiness in his life? I hope he will still be on, I mean his dad was on for 3 years after he died. I loved Nate!

Re: Six Feet Under
I liked Nate too, but truth be told there was alot that I didn't like about him. Such as his total lack of commitment or loyalty. I mean he married Lisa and didn't really want to be with her and actually began an affair with Brenda. Then after she dies, and he can finally be with Brenda as soon as things get rough he wants to leave her for Maggie. He just seemed like he was the kind of person that would never have been happy. Always looking for more and never seeing what he has. He was a very 'the grass is greener' kind of guy.I mean really how many different mommies was Maya going to have??Anyway I am sure he will still be in several episodes. Do you know how many are left??

I know what you mean about Nate. But there was just something about him... He was such a jerk, yet I always had a soft spot for his character. He seemed like he wanted to be a 'free spirit' yet life dragged him down. I'm not sure how many episodes are left? Maybe 3?
I missed the first 20 minutes. I guess I will watch it tomorrow. What do you think of Claire & that new guy? I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

Wait! Nate isn't necessarily dead, right? He collapsed, but that was how they ended the last episode. He could have been rushed to the hospital and had surgery. Maybe I'm just being hopeful....Or have I not seen the most recent episode?
ETA: ARRGGGH! I figured out that you guys watched an episode tonight. I have Tivo, so I usually watch the show later in the week.

I saw the last 2 minutes by accident!! I was so pissed. This is really intense...but somehow i think it was destined to happen - and was TOTALLY foreshadowed last season...it was coming, but I can't believe it!

Re: Six Feet Under
I was so upset that they had him dump Brenda than die now she has to live with that I feel so bad for her I hope she gets Mya. If Lisa's sister gets her that kid is in trouble. I think Maggie will kill herself or something drastic and Nate will be around like or with his dad.

Re: Six Feet Under
well they showed his 'living years' like they do after every death in the beginning of the show. And looking at the scenes from the next he looks dead... unless it's some kind of dream which I doubt.

No he is dead. They showed Nathaniel Samuel Fisher Jr 1965-2005.....so sad......but what a jerk for doing that to Brenda!!!! What will happen to poor Maya?

i was so bored throughout the entire episode as i thought they were dragging out the hospital scene just a tad bit too much...then the show ends with my jaw dropped - i love it!

Re: Six Feet Under
I caught up on it last night (Nates funeral) - yeah, I was HYSTERICALLY crying the entire time! So sad...
Is the season (series) done? how many more episodes are left?
