I knew Lisa was dead!!! But that whole Gabe thing in the graveyard, and Claire's baby..so sad! Even Nate Sr. crying in the corner about Ruth's wedding...poor Arthur too! Nate and Brenda again next season? What did my fellow fans think?

i was SO confused the whole time! i was waiting for something BIG to happen but it never did. not that that's a bad thing - just that i was waiting for something that never happened. definietly sad that lisa died but definietly makes next season extra enticing to see what happened! the only thing left undone was russell. (left undone meaning they didnt touch upon it at all) - p.s. cant believe rico!! and WOW, nate (dont know his real name) really gave an impressive performance!

So sad! Uh! What a way to end the season. Just when it looked liked they were getting their lives together, it all falls apart. What was with Claire crying when her mother got married? That scene was so bizarre wasn't it?
Still, I can't wait for next season!

I was also thinkin..it's 9:47...something big has to happen... Claire I think is jusy so messed up from the abortion and the whole Russell thing that the wedding set her off. I was also disappointed that they didn't even explain Russell...yet they went back to explain what happened to GABE! I was also surprised at RICO..cheating!!!! I can't wait for next season, but at least sex in the city comes back soon...I hear Aden comes back with a baby!

I was shocked about Rico cheating, too. I wasn't surprised about Lisa - remember what happened at the end of last season when they killed off Nate? (Well, gave you that impression, anyway) I think overall though it wasn't as intense as I expected it to be. I was expecting more things to trail off into next season.

i expected a bigger blow out too. I'm dying to know how Lisa died. and i expected a little bit on Russell. It was an ok ending... i like how they ended it with Lisas birth/death year thing. Is it just me or was Brendas date creepy looking... he has potential to be cute, but he just looked sleazy. Maybe he was supposed to look artsy.

Brenda's date was annoying me everytime he came on the screen. What the hell was up with his HAIR?? It was like he slept on it and then left the ouse, all uneven and runpled. Yuck. I just hate Brenda anyway and I was hoping that she'd be written off. Guess not. I'll be really annoyed if they have her and Nate back together next season.
Don't know what was up with Claire but at one point I thought that maybe SHE was gonna kill herself because she was acting so bizarre. The whole thing with Lisa's baby and Claire's baby and Claire and Lisa meeting up was so sad. But at the end Claire seemed fine so I guess that's that. Don't know why they didn't explain Russel.
I was also weirded out by that weird guy that lives with them now. He was all jealous while he was watching Ruth and George dance, remember? Maybe he'll go psycho next season.
And Rico. Not that I condone that behavior, but I actually found that whole bit to be kind of funny. Vanessa sister's so annoying, I wish she'd leave too.
David and Keith. Nice to see Keith making an effort although I was glad when David walked out last episode.
The dad at the end was horrible. I wanted to cry.
All in all I thought it was good but like everyone else I sat the whole time waiting for something BIG. We all KNEW Lisa was dead already. So when it was over I was sort of like ????

OK... it's probably easier if I list the topics:
Overall: Disappointing
First half hour: SUCKED
Lisa's death: Also disappointing, I wanted to know HOW she died
Brenda & new neighbor: Why the HE11 are they introducing a new character in the last episode?
Rico: Stupid... obviously the marriage is doomed, I guess this was just icing on the cake. Funny when he offered to pay her, though.
David & Keith: This was the only part that made me really happy. YAAAY! I SOO want them to work out.
Ruth: Not sure... happy for her, I guess... it was weird when the dad showed up crying. And poor Arthur is heartbroken. :-(
Claire: I was PI$$ED when they showed the baby. That was just WRONG. That made me really f***ing angry! I am very pro-choice, so that just REALLY rubbed me the wrong way. I'm still upset about it! And why did they have to show Gabe? It seemed to me like she was hinting at suicide for a minute. But I guess now that she has Maya to look after, maybe not. And no conclusion with Russell?
Finally, Nate: Whoa. He's become a total stranger. I totally thought he was going to kill himself, and when they showed the knock on the door I thought it was going to be the cops at his house. So what now? How did he even know where Brenda lived, did he ever go there? I don't know... I can't even begin to imagine what next season will be like. I was kind of disappointed with this one, especially the ending. Hmmm....
But it's still my favorite show!

I was kinda hoping for a better ending, too but all in all, thought the season was good. A lot better than a lot of the other cr@p on TV. It was kind of weird the way they introduced a new character in the season finale.

I didn't think showing Claire's baby had anything to do with being pro-choice or not... I think it had to do with showing her possible regret and emotion over the horrible situation she went through. I don't think it was meant to be a political statement in any way- just a means of portraying Claire's sadness over her situation- which she was obviously upset about.

I thought the ending was good. Not an overly done cliffhanger but enough to keep me wondering about next season.
Im not crazy about how the Dad is 'seen' by all the kids. Its a little too crazy for me but it worked last night.

Overall, I liked the ep. I was waiting for some huge dramatic finale...but was enticed with enough of a cliffhanger to be satisfied. I was also bothered by the showing of Claire's (aborted) baby and I did take it the way Lunatrek did - also being (staunchly) pro-choice. I would have liked to see some Russel info...and I love Brenda so I was happy(?) to see Nate go to her in the end.

I was a little disappointed. I felt like, with the exception of the Gabe part, we could have figured out everything that would happen from what they showed in the previews. We knew Nate would get in a barfight, we knew Ruth would get married, we knew Dave and Keith would talk again, and we knew Brenda would go on a date. I'm sure I'll still enjoy the show next year, though.
Just double checking-we don't know how Gabe died, right? Last I remember Claire got tired of him because he was on drugs and blew him off in season 2.

I think they have it on tonight, and/or tomorrow (or wed). If you live in queens it will be available on On Demand thingie. I like Brenda too, i didn't like her actions last season, but as a whole i like her. Maybe cuz she was in Muriels wedding. hehe I didn't like the aborted baby there either, it wasn't even close to that big when it was aborted so how can it be in a stroller and such??
