Six months, Lots to Do, Should I be worried?

Okay, I just realized I have 6 months, I need to book, officiant, get bridesmaid dress, flowers, limo, invites, and Honeymoon, should I be worried? What do you girls have left?

You're fine, but I would book flowers soon. We just booked our officiant the other day. We still have invitations, honeymoon, the BM dresses (they've been picked out, but need to be ordered). The little stuff like veil, favors, menus, programs in on the list too.

Ok if it makes you feel any better I have just a couple of weeks over six months and I haven't even looked for a dress yet

I will at the end of March when my mom comes out though

If it makes you feel any better I have 4 months and I still have a TON to do....the short list....Flowers, Limos, Favors, Rehersal Dinner, Finalize Guest List, Address and assemble invitations, look for wedding bands...it goes on and on!

Dont worry just prioritize and tackle one task at a time!

ETA by the way, our invites took 4 days to come in from Party City. So just dont stress about that, just give yourself enough time to get them addressed and assembled!

we got a little more than 5 months and i still have to make the invites, decide songs, decide menu, make menu, get girls dresses, get guys dressed, pick songs, get my dress, pick hair and makeup styles...you get the picture...it will all come together.

don't worry, you'll pull it all together (or at least that is what everyone tells me) If it makes you feel any better I have eight months and still need:
florist
band
ceremony music
wedding bands
BM Dresses (Picked out)
favors
invites (picked out)
The list goes on and on....it's really tough but I just keep taking one thing at a time and not thinking about everything all at once. Good luck!

Well maybe do what i do set up a plan put everything on a ceck list and do one thing at a time.
I would do BM dresses & Flowers soon.

Invites only take like 2 weks to come in when you pick them out.

Limos - The large Limo companies have a huge fleet of cars that you can still choose from im sure, unless you wanted something special (like a hummer)

Honeymoon - I know that the lady i used could book everything for you over the phone it could take like 15 minutes if you know where youd like to go, she is really good if you want her # let me know.

I dont know about an officiant, how long that should take to book, but im sure you could find someone.

Just start looking you will feel much better when you can start checking th8ngs off that checklist.

Good Luck,
Vanessa

I am getting married the same day as you. I still need Florist, DJ, invites (we are doing our own), BM dresses- although I think we picked it and honeymoon.

Don't worry. People plan weddings in three months, six months, and three years- but it always works out. Just do what you can and enjoy the process ; )

I'm on the same day as you and Shelly, and while you have a lot to do, I wouldn't worry TOO much. Just get on it!

Your doing fine. As Irene said, I would book the florist as soon as you can. Otherwise, don't be so hard on yourself. I'm getting married in 160 days (!) and I still have to book the limo, take care of hotel blocks; book the makeup artist, buy veil & shoes; book mini-honeymoon; invitations; favors; rehearsal dinner and I'm probably forgetting something.

It'll be fine. My FSIL planned her wedding in five months.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with lots of things.

Just wondering you all recommend I book the florist next, but since I don't know the color scheme of the bridesmaid dresses, can I book the florist without knowing what color/type the flowers should be?
