I know this has been asked a while back, I vaguely remember the post...
But has anyone with a larger bridal party been told they were crazy, or had a negative reaction? I am having 9 girls...I know this is big...but each person means a ton to me (5 of them are family..we are irish catholic, lol). Seriously....coworkers/family/friends..when I say 9 they go 'oh my god thats insane' and then ask me if i know how $$ it will be to get them all gifts.
I know i should only do what makes me happy and not worry...but i find this very annoying and shouldn't have to explain myself over and over again...

We have 2 MOH, 2 BM (FH couldn't decide between 2 old friends) 6 BM, 6 GM and a flower girl. I'm comfortablewith it becasue we didn't want to leave anyone out...I've learned people will question anything and everything...if someone only had 1 or 2 girls they would say why so few? Enjoy! It's your wedding party and your budget...and your business not theirs!
I totally agree. We are only having 3 BM and 3 GM and I get questioned why all the time. Everybody will have a comment to make. Just ignore it and do what you feel is right and good for you. By the way, my neighbor is having 19 GM-he can't decide between his friends so he's having them all-I'm not sure about the BM's. I think you're ok...

I got upset over the weekend cause my mom told me that one of my aunts was complaining about the size of the bridal party. I told my mom that she should of asked her if she was paying for everything. They are so nosy.
I'm having: 7 girls and guys, moh, bm, one set of godparents (it's a spanish thing), and 1 jr bm and 1 jr gm.
