I just saw on E! that some bridal place in NYC is replicating SJPs wedding gown from the Sex movie for a mere $15,000....but hurry...the offer is only good tomorrow and Thursday!!!
If I had that kind of money to drop on a dress I would so do it....that dress was amazing!!!

I worked on the movie for 2 days and was NEXT TO the dress in the wardrobe room at Silvercup Studios. It was far more beautiful in person (you should have seen the detailing up close!)
Yea that was one of the best days of my life. I went home and cried tears of joy afterwards.

Ahhh good ol silver cup i remember my production days atteh studio & location spots. As fo rthe dress ITS AMAZING! The detailing alone is to die for 15,000 is an actual bargain. I may not want to spend that but i can understand why it goes fo rthat much. The work & fabric & everythign is just stunning.

I agree with you girls too!! Im not into the whole pointy tips at the top either! I think if the neckline was altered it can be a beautiful dress.

I know. I'm still blown away by it. We filmed it last November in STeiner STudios in Brooklyn. Me and others did makeup for the fashion show scene, we literally re-created the Vivienne Westwood Paris Fashion Show from Feb 07.
It was the same clothes, models, hair and makeup. Viviene's design partner (I forgot his name) styled the whole thing.
The funniest part was that all the models were from Russia and had no idea who the girls were. Literally Michael Patrick King had them walk out and the girls had to wave so they knew where they were.

ITA...not my style, at all. I think its even worse in the cocktail style, too.
