I was wondering if you cold give me some suggestions as I have never been skiing before
We are planning a ladies weekend at the end of February and was wondering if any of you go skiing a lot to give some recommendations.
I was looking at the Hunter / Windam area ....
There will be at least 12 of us so I was looking into house to rent
Anyone have any suggestions ??

been to both....hunter is really crowed!!
goto Windam the trails are much wider and there are a lot of families. Good for beginners..

I would recommend Windham also. Hunter gets very crowded. Also, if you are a beginner like me Windham is better bec you don't have to take the lift to the beginner slope....

My parents have a house that they rent that is right in the middle of both (a little closer to Windham).
The house sleeps about 20 so there is plenty of room, a big country kitchen, fire place, etc. If you want more info you can FM me.

yes I have heard that Windham is much better I think that's where we will go since we are all beginners ( ha that should be a funny sight!)

go to the berkshires - butternut or jiminy peak.
MUCH better than windham, and closer than vermont

Just a suggestion- we usually go to the Poconos- Jack Frost/Big Boulder is really nice for learning- a lot of trails and even better- there is an outlet nearby!

I agree...and their cabins are so nice and cozy too
