Anyone ever go skiing in the Poconos; Camelback, etc...??
I want to take our kids skiing and they have never been before so I am looking for somewhere that is family friendly.
Any recommendations?

I was just at Elk Mountain in PA. It is not too far from the other mountains there. It was great - not too crowded bc it is not one of the major mountains there. I would say it was family friendly. goodluck and have fun !

There is Jack Frost, which is in the Pocono region and I got lessons there when I was younger and they are great.

If you are looking for a place to go for a long weekend, you might want to try Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. They have so much to do and are totally family oriented.
