Skin Helpl!!

I have been on medication for a while now and my skin has gone CRAZY!!!! It has broken out sooooooo bad. I even cancelled my 2nd makeup trial last night because of it

Can anyone recommend anything that will help me out until my dermatologist appointment on March 5th? This is driving me batty!!!

I hated the stuff dermatologists gave me. I use ProActiv. Great stuff, but not short term and it seems like that's what you're looking for.

it sounds stupid to say, but try to double-up on your drinking water. It sounds like you need to flush out your system. Also, I would suggest Proactive. My friends SWEAR by it, the face lotion and cleanser.

Great idea! I'll try drinking more than I already do. I usually try to drink 4 bottles a day, but maybe I should up that becuase of the medications.......

Drink lots of water and try to cut out as much white sugar and processed foods as possible. No soda! Not even diet! Eat lots of green veggies (spinach, broccoli,ect) and dark colored berries. My derm also has me taking vitamin A and E supplements on type of my multi. Also, try limiting stress as much as possible. I don't know about you, but stress makes my skin break out .

Hope this helps a bit! I'm sure your derm will be able to clear up your skin before the wedding so try not to worry to much

Im going to have to second that. I love Proactiv it worked wonders for me..however, there was a product my dermatologist wrote me a prescription for and it did a great job..but then my insurance ended at couldnt go back for a refill..it basically had benoyze proxide (sp) but a heck of a lot like 8-10%...I believe if you go to the stores and try to find an acne product with this ingredient you will find one with maybe 4%... But def. try proactiv

I feel your pain on this...I hate looking in the mirror lately cause my skin keeps changing. i don't know of any quick fixes but like the other said I hear such great things about Proactiv. I'm actually going to give it a try too. And hey, it worked for Diddy, Kelly, Jessica and Lindsey... Sorry I couldn't help myself!!!

I've been using proactive for 2 months and it's helped a little.
Last week I started an oral antibiotic and retinol cream for my face. I hope this will do the trick.

Proactive definitely doesn't work on all pimples. There are about 5 different names for specific kinds of acne and some can only be cured with oral antibiotics. Good Luck babe. Hope something works out. Talk to the derm, he'll hook you up

I'm sure my derm. will be able to give me something....I'M just impatient right now becuase I dislike how my face looks My surgery is next week, so hopefully I can get off the medications and my face will start to get better again.......

....hemroid cream!!! That just sounds really funny to me! I dont' think my FH will ever kiss me again if he knew I had hemroid cream on my face!!!!!! Thanks for the suggestion though.....I'm going to look it up and see what they say about it ...

i just bought a great product at sephora

its only got 5% benzoyl peroxide (the high 10% kills my face over dries).. this seemsto help

Wow... I'm totally in the same boat. The pills my Derm gave me isn't really working anymore. I tried Proactiv and it dried out my skin AND I drink a Ton of water with lemon in it every day. It stinks... I want clear skin
