Skin Issues..

Skin Issues..

I know there was a post on what people were doing about their skin/face and what products they were using.. but can't find it now :(

I've noticed my skin is very dry lately, especially my t-zone area.. it seems that is the opposite of everyone else..lol

Does anyone have any masks I could try? I have sensitive skin, so I am reluctant to just try something they say is good..

To add my 2 cents.

I absolutely love this mask. It is very gentle and works on just about every skin type. It's called Fresh Papaya Enzime Mask and it's made by Zia Natural. They sell a trial size for $4.25 (and it lasts a long time).

Here's the website:

Home remedies also work very well. (The only downfall is that they can be quite messy.) Oatmeal is excellent for your skin and you can make it at home.

Grind up oatmeal in a blender. Put some in your hand and mix a little water with it (enough to make a paste). Smooth it on your face and then wash off. You can use it in place of cleanser.

Mask- mix plain yogurt with oat and camamille. Put it over your face. Let sit anywhere from 5 minutes to 20. Wash off. (This is very messy, but it works. Put your head on a towel.)

I used the above myself when my skin got really bad. I got sick of the mess so now I use Zia.

Good luck

Is it possible you've been taking too good of care of your skin? I used to use face masks, pore strips, apricot scrubs, toner and it seemed to create more problems then it solved. Now I use Aveno face wash and scrub (nice and mild) and Estee Lauder mosterizer.

I have been using Dove Essential Nutrients line of skin care products for a few months now, and I love it. I use the Cream Cleanser, then the Clarifying Toner, and finish with the SPF 15 Day Cream (moisturizer). A friend of mine works for Mary Kay, and even she can't believe how great my skin looks since I started using this stuff.

I am not sure if this will help your specific problem but it's worth a try. I have been using for the past week Klear Action. They say compare to Proactive solution. I have used proactive solution but it's way too expensive for my budget right now. My skin looks awesome! Same ingredients and everything. My skin is finally even again. I have been wearing less makeup too. I got it in BJ's for $17.99 I think. You get the face wash, Toner(big bottle), Repairing lotion, face mask, and a little tube of blemish zapper.
If you buy it online you only get the face wash, toner and lotion for the same price. BJ's have the other stuff as a bonus.
Just remember what works for one doesn't always work for another. Good Luck!
