Ok so I need help...does anyone have small tiny white bumps on their face? just under their eye? I know they are called milia. I have had them for a few years and they drive me crazy - I have tried facials and scrubbing and a dermotologist (that was not very helpful) its something I'd really like to get rif of before the wedding. Please help if you can...I put in a pic so you know what I'm tlaking about (not me)
Fh has a couple also...I don't know much about it but I found this on the net about removal and treatment. I say try another dermatologist...it sounds like they should be easily removed with a tiny incision.
Medical Care: No topical or systemic medications are effective on primary and secondary milia. Single case reports have demonstrated the success of topical isotretinoin and minocycline in treating patients with milia en plaque.
Surgical Care: Milia can be safely left alone, but if the patient requests treatment, then incision with a cutting-edge needle and manual expression of the contents are effective. This can be performed without local anesthetic. Milia en plaque has been treated effectively with electrodesiccation, carbon dioxide laser, and cryosurgery.

True........but then get more than one opinion.
I see one on occassions. I had some type of skin discoloration that was all over my body and made me really insecure. No more because a doc helped. Comes on occassions...its not fun!
See a doctor...thats their specialty...the skin. I wouldnt let them start snipping away but Im sure they can help.
