go to the dermatologist and get those suckers injected! i dont have any other way. lol i am currently breaking out like a 12 yr old he --waa

i feel ur pain

I agree - when I was breaking out real bad I would see the dermatologist and they would inject the ones that were really deep under the skin and they would be flat in like a day - so if you can get to the dermatologist def do so.

Also - try to go easy on the makeup for now so you can let your skin breathe. I find that if I have a few days off from work and don't wear makeup my skin looks so refreshed...

Re: Skincare question...

as long as you go more than a week before for a facial. It can be great or make it worse, ive had great facials but ive had it done where made me break out or didnt clear me up. If you have someone good you know and trust thats different. I have gone to Kimara Ahnert to get their acne facial and it works very well.

I use sugar as an exfoliator, i take dove soap, foam up my hands with it and mix sugar in, makes my skin extremely soft and really helps.

HOWEVER, for a quick definite 100% fix just go to the derm and get a cortizone shot. Everyone is different so what works for one person might not work for you as far as creams and all that go. Plus for many can take more than 2 weeks to see results. With cortizone shots its gone in 24 hours, ive done this in emergency situations. Its better too bc insurance covers this and wont cost you a thing but with a facial now it can get pricey depending what you will do plus all the products you have to buy

Khiel's has 2 kick$$ products that work for my (14 year old again) skin. The Blue Astringent (which is for oily/acne prone skin) and the Sodium PCA Moisturizer (it's oil free). you might be able to get free samples if you swing by Nordstrom

The arbonne primer is AMAZING, I always have to order it for my aunts all the time.

I use the intelligence line - works great!!

The intelligence is discontinued - they replaced with a new line...

go to another dermatologist. anything over the counter might have too much alcohol in it, which will dry out your skin. that wil cause ur skin to produce more oil and then ull break out even more. dont touch ur face, wash it with dove soap and water 'til u go to the dermatologist.

or u can get ur make up done professionally?

I have to agree find another dermotologist!! Cortisone injections are a must. From being on my cell phone all of the time I used to break out on my chin... the only thing that would make them go away QUICKLY... like that night was getting the shots!

I do at home facials (I use a facial sauna, but you can place a hot towel over your face for the same effect). Every time I do them people tell me my face looks great (even though I don't see a difference).

Use a peel-off facial mask along with the facial.

I use proactiv, it helps but I have really bad acne scars that won't go away.

Re: Skincare question...

Listen, I've had HORRIBLE adult acne...I wouldn't reccomend you trying anything you haven't used be4 because you won't know how your skin will react. (Plus most medicines take 3 months b4 you see results) Facials if not done professionally can cause more damage, plus it takes a good week to see results. Try making an appointment with a dermatologist if you can. If you can't...drink plenty of water, try not to wear makeup b4 your pictures to let your face breathe, go buy vitamin E pills, and steam your face over a hot pot of water to cleanse your pores. HTH!!
