you should let your frind order her dress from another store if she wants or offer to pay the difference...........IMHO

Otherwise it's going to be a never ending battle

If she found it cheaper somewhere else then thats great........it s.u.c.k.s that so many of the BM dresses these days go for between $150 and $200 but that is to be expected. Its hard to find a nice dress that is cheaper. I was in my cousins wedding and this is around what I spent which I didnt think was bad at all. Once you go over $200 it becomes crazy.

I definitely know where you are coming from though worrying about getting the dress dyed at the same place. Maybe you should find out how much cheaper she found it for and give her the difference if you really want to get it at your place.

I know how you feel I had 2 out of twon girls that we waited almost 1 month to order there dresses. And the one girl would give me a run around all the time. Liek oh she had no one to measuer her, then she sent it (but i called and she didn't) then it was she had no money. I mean if she didn't want to do it she should have just said soemthing. My other Bm told me flat out she didn't have the money that week and would have to wait till her next pay check the following week. Atleast she was honet about it.

oh wow that s.u.c.k.s.....thats why its best to be sure before you accept an offer to be in someones bridal party If you aren't that close or aren't interested it is best to decline.

if youre doing it at RK bridal why arent you doing their no frills? it will save the girls between $70-100 plus its easier bc the girls wouldnt have to go to the store to order it and put the money down. You take a sheet from RK bridal and you order all the sizes on there and fax it to them and thats it. Then they can give you the money themselves instead of having to go to the city...BUT also like i said it will save them alot of money. If youre going to RK might as well do the no frills. The girls dont even have to step foot in the store so this way you dont wait around for girls to make it to rk

I did no frills too at RK. Just got my girls to send me their measurements & ordered them all myself. They came in, I picked up & sent to each girl. Very easy!!

That's so funny you mentioned about probably shouldn't post and I didn't even realize that there may be stalkers, yikes!!

You are absolutely right about the fee's and there will be a rush fee if it's not ordered on time. I know everyone's got a life but at the least just get measured and call your own size in ~ they don't even need to physically go there.

GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! I don't even know what to say.

oh well if theres a fee....they waited too long....

and who cares where the alterations are done...ORDER the dress!!!! If you dont want alts done there...pay the dress in full and take it elsewhere when it comes in....although...they wont have much choice when the dresses come in 6/10!!!

Im sorry...i know you want to jjust go get them all and sit them down and order....I have a pregg BM and they are no fun but we deal....but this isnt fair....being a BM Is a RESPONSIBILITY!!!!

ill be ur bm..ill order the dress

its $40 per dress for a rush fee at rk.

BUt dont panic yet. Theyre delivery time on my dress is taking 2 months...and many girls who ordered at RK bridal got it in even sooner than the 2 months they were told.

seriously, stop complaining on LIW about me - you never come on this site and all of sudden you are replying to any and every post regarding bridesmaids.....obviously you arent over it and you are being childish and obnoxious - i tried to keep quiet and laugh it off but you don't stop - i'm sure you've been dying for me to read your posts - i have and they amuse me....i come on this site to offer help and give opinions - i post on here everyday - i think its sad that you are using this site (the site that i showed you) to say what you are afraid to say to my face - when you are sitting 5 feet away from me at work!! its the second time you are using this site to do this.....you are being really lame.....

sorry girls for the drama! i hate to do this to the OP - i am really sorry..... but i just had to call her out....

Call me out........sorry just have to laugh Sorry you feel the need to act obnoxious and sorry you didnt understand that I couldnt come to you engagement party because my grandmother died and the as my bridesmaid I would expect you to do certain things involving the wedding even though it is 8 months before.

Sorry I thought you were my friend and I made the mistake.........also FYI I will say it to you face if you want me to so dont tempt me.

i dont care that you didnt come to my engagement party - i used it as an example of a 'personal reason' why you cannot attend a wedding related event - just like if i was not able to attend your BP it would be for a 'personal reason' only..... you twist things around and like to look like the victim of it all....its sad....you can post whatever you like here - it doesnt bother me at all its a forum and you can post your opinion- i just want the OP's to know your true intentions when posting....

Re: Slacking BM's Anyone????

A 'personal reason' someone died I dont clarify that as just a personal reason. So get over yourself.

And yes I agree that I dont post as much as some other people but I just to comment this time because its just ironic how you are so into helping people and giving opinions and talking about wedding stuff everyday when you made it clear you couldnt stand talking about my wedding any more.
